  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I I enjoy my programme very much, I am very lucky in that the tutors from BMET are very friendly and approachable from the off, I know that if I have an issue with anything, work or otherwise, the tutors will support me and help in any way they can, so my experience from that point of view has been very positive.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is well structured to a point, there is an overall aim/target of passing assignments and assessments and completing a log book. I have to admit however, when I first started the programme I had little knowledge on the subject matter and the training provider provided some help but a little more would've been appreciated.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As mentioned when I first started the apprenticeship I had little knowledge on Procurement, and whilst I have been learning everyday on the job, a big part of my learning and understanding of how things work comes from the teaching provided by the training provider as part of my qualification.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, the apprentice school and BMW group as whole is very good for being inclusive to all members of the team due to an unofficial insistence that we should go out on social nights together to help us bond. Not only this but all of my fellow employees are very friendly and its a really nice environment to be in.

  • 9a. Would you recommend BMW Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Whilst I can't speak for the entire business, certainly my experience of the company has been very positive in terms of the different stakeholders I have interacted with over the past year, all have been helpful and supportive and so I would definitely recommend the business to a friend.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group?
  • BMW is a great company to work for due to it's interesting and supportive nature, however, be open minded and prepared to step out of your comfort zone, in the past I have been more confident in some areas compared to others, however as part of the job I have had to become confident in order to get the job done.
