Maintaning Machinery, carrying out planned maintenance as well as attending breakdowns.
i have learnt hoe to operate cnc machinery, as well as how to operate different types of cells and robots. as well as learning how to fault find and analyse issues on the production line.
many aspects of the program are good, however, the least enjoyable aspect of the programme was attending the College, due to it being quite unorganized and also due to the location of the center meant it was difficult to get to
the programme is structured okay, however, when moving to new sections or departments, there can be issues with them not knowing you are arriving, due to the lack of communication between departments. this sometimes makes you feel like you are in the way and can ruin the experience.
the employer provides good but minimal amounts of support. apprentices do not have an easily accessible point or points of contact around the company. it sometimes seems apprentices do not have anyone who is in charge or responsible for us, making us sometimes feel lost.
my qualification helps me to perform my role well as all of the basic skills i did in college i can apply to the workplace.
yes, there are a large number of clubs within the company as well as different learning opportunities provided by the company.
