  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • my role is to assist existing and new banking customers, this is both reactive and proactive queries to ensure all banking operations are correct. This involves weekly client meetings, calls and emails. The role also has teamwork element as I work along side 2 ARMS and 8 Relationship Managers on a daily basis who have customer portfolios of around 50 per RM

  • I enjoy the programme as it gives me opportunities that are not offered in other organizations such as qualifications, mentoring, CSR and the chance to build up a network

  • the programme is well organised as this is structured to ensure time management skills are development so job role duties and exam revision are balanced well to ensure the qualification is passed but also that the job role is developed

  • I received a lot of support from my line manager, fellow colleagues, fellow apprenticeship colleagues and also having a mentor. There is also a lot of online resource through the organizations intranet that has helped my development

  • we have regular webinars and review calls for both the exam and coursework and on going support with further training and induction days

  • It aids my banking knowledge in particular regulatory elements and also time management skills are developed having to balance the job role and the apprenticeship studies
