  • My role consists of constantly monitoring the banks liquidity risk and managing the metrics that indicate a shortage in liquidity. We maintain an open dialogue with the short term markets desk to understand the positions we hold and report these to the PRA.

  • I have learnt a number of on the job skills as well as people skills.

  • I have really enjoyed myself so far, the roles are getting more and more interesting as time passes and I am constantly having my job enriched.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • To begin with there was very little structure and certainty as to what I'd be doing in the future. I sought out new roles and experiences for myself. The educational side of the programme has been much more organised but still fell behind minimum expectations.

  • A good amount in most cases.

  • Not enough, emails are automated and not considerate of personal situations.

  • The qualification and knowledge that comes with it is applicable to my day to day role. The relevance of what I've studied has really helped me in the job.

  • There are plenty of sports teams, I myself organise networking events so there are plenty of professional opportunities there also
