My role included answering the phone, being on till, helping with delivery, doing my apprenticeship work which was an hour a week and communicating with customers.
I have learnt a lot of new skills, including customer service, knowledge about the business and how it is run, team work, leadership and time management.
I enjoyed my program alot, I had a great team, my last assessor was great I wish I had her from the beginning. I enjoyed the daily activities and the feeling of accomplishment once they had been completed.
It was structured, I liked having the hourly review sheet so you can mark off when you have had your hour. The fact it was audited as well gave management an insentive to make sure it was completed each week. I had a few different assessors so there was a part of time where I was confused on where I was at but I carried on and gave the work 100%
Alot of support both of my employers were really helpful, supportive and I learnt alot from them! Could not have done it without them. They were amazing. It made it much more enjoyable with a supportive team who want to see you achieve.
Alot of support from both my manager and my assessor. I could message or phone my assessor if I had any questions and my manager was always able to make time for me which was great so I could get better knowledge and understanding of the question.
I have better customer service skills and knowledge about kwhat the customer needs, different types of customers and how to adapt yourself in certain situations. I have knowledge on selling techniques which have really helped when working. I have better communication skills and can work as part of a team.
There is the gobe ambassador which I am nominated for which is about revising products from the store online. Where I can get friends from the outside involved with too.
