  • I work on the retention line for motor retentions where I will do my absolute best to see if I can help retain a customer for the business.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've learnt a lot more about myself as a person, and learnt how to be more confident with how I am with customers and other things aswell. I've learnt leadership skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the program as it keeps giving me something to work for, I always want to progress and the program enables me to do so.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Throughout our programme there have been a few hiccups at first, with tutors cancelling on us, and planning times being inaccurate but other then that its been good and well organised.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Any support which is necessary, always asking for feedback on if we need any extra help.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We have their personal email address and a contact number where we can contact them whenever we need to do so which is great! they also come in every 3 weeks to discuss and go through certain parts too.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I've learnt a lot more doing the qualification than I think I would just doing the extra role as it goes into more depth so I get a greater understanding of the insurance industry.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are plenty of opportunities and social gatherings throughout the company, recently they've hosted a pub quiz which was a really good social event to get people talking and to have a good laugh.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I believe Direct line is a great company to work for as there are plenty of opportunities for progression and there is always extra support when needed.

  • Go for it! don't be scared to be confident and strive to be great.
