  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that my qualification helps me perform better as it gives me the theory behind the way the machine I work with function. • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are team forums where the team gets together and discusses what is currently happening with in the business and what is being done from a management point of view and where the company is heading. Furthermore during these forums, engineers can discuss aspects they would like to see improved in the company and what can be done to improve employee's well being. Additionally at the end of the team forums, those available go to enjoy a day at an agreed place, such as go to see the races.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • The company cares very deeply for all the employee's well being and are always looking for ways to improve the work environment. Additionally the company is one of the leading brands in healthcare engineering and are continuously coming up with new and improve machines which means it is a very stable position. Lastly the company offers many useful perks such as a work vehicle and health care packages so employee's can also have the best outside the work environment.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens?
  • My advice would be to give all that they have to offer as the rewards are very good. This is a one in a live time opportunity and it would be a shame to throw this opportunity away. I would also advice that if anyone is looking for a one of a kind job where no day is the same this would be a great opportunity.
