  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Plenty of skills around self-evaluation and development, allowing me to reflect more on my position and progression. The modules have also expanded into some areas that are above my position allowing me to gain a better insight into what I could look to do In the future as well. This is good because I can then plan for my future.

  • I have enjoyed everything about the programme as it has challenged me in a variety of different ways to push myself and gain a better understanding of each aspect of the role that I would like to take on after the current role I have. It has also provided me with enough experience to be able to perform in the role.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure of the programme has been highly satisfactory. The order of the modules are quite appropriate and useful in starting the learning off by focusing on yourself as a person and your own awareness and development and then building on your behaviors and skills from there to progress more.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have received great support from my employer from the start including from all management and upper management. I also did have to contact further and higher managers and different positions to gain information to allow me to complete some of the modules of work, all of these people were very helpful as well.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I did not have as much support at the start as I am now on the third facilitator after the beginning of my course due to their job changes I assume. However, the person that I work with now for this is extremely good and probes a lot more into what I can do, allowing me to progress more.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel that it has allowed me to become much more self aware in positive ways, so that I can be conscious of myself and my behaviours to ensure that I am as effective as I can be when managing a team. I am also now seconded in the role so I am gaining more experience fast.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • In the business I work on our Frontline, Emails, Backline, Superuser, VOICE Committee, Talent Focus Events, Floorwalking and Apprenticeship.
