  • We are at the training provider for a year and I feel that the qualifications that we receive help us in the workplace so that we can go back to work and get into the job as soon as possible. We are not rushed as they want us to be 100% sure when we go back to work.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We can go into schools for confidence building to tell them about our apprenticeship. We all go out for meals together and we all socialise well. We also go on trips to other sites to see what they do. We participate on this expedition called Out of Bound where you meet all apprentices from BAE Systems and you have to use your team working skills to navigate in the outdoors.

  • 9b. Why?
  • BAE systems is the best rated apprenticeship and it shows. There is so much scope and opportunity for you that you can go as far as you want to go. They constantly push you to be the best that you can be and I love my job here. It is all that I could ask for.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • Apply to the job no matter if you think you will get it or not. There is no harm in trying. The best thing that you can do is to make sure that you do many extra curricular activities outside of school.
