  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt many different skills whilst in the total people workshop, such as manual milling and turning, I have learnt the basics of the machine and how to run them in an effective and efficient way. I have previously had experience in the CNC side of manufacturing so by BAE investing in me to develop my skills in this it has allowed me to manufacture more advanced parts.

  • 9a. Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend BAE Systems to a friend because I believe that they give you the support and guidance which you would tend not to get at any other apprenticeship. They will offer you many different opportunities and activities which you can attend which will give you a break from all the lengthy work.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
  • When ever you are applying to BAE systems the main advice which I would give to a potential employee would be to put lots of detail and time into the application. I would also give the advice at the interview stage to be prepared for any question and put in the correct amount of research.
