  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I have had to have lots of training and constantly keep up to date with new policies and procedures. I've learnt so much from my training days. They're very engaging. I specifically liked the first aid training course which had lots of knowledge to share with its trainees

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy it loads. I have an amazing assessor who helps me through every step of the way and I know I can count on them for any advice or questions that may arise through my training development process. I'm so glad I agreed to go on this course

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It's very structured. I know exactly what I should be doing on a daily basis and if I am unsure at any point I can just contact my assessor and they will explain everything in detail to me. They're really well structured and give you set goals to follow

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have extra tutition if needs be. I can enrol on that at weekends or in the evenings I just need to let my assessor know when and what I want to do as addition learning on the side and they're usually pretty good to cater for my needs.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It helps me to dig deeper and understand my role a lot more then I knew how to before. It means myself and my clients can benefit more from my role and were all learning together on a daily basis. I know a lot more about my role since starting this course.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • not really. I don't really have much interest out side of work. I go to the local clubbercise once a week to meet new people with my friend. But I have never be one that's good at sports so I stay clear of them if I can. our company doesn't have events on either

  • 9a. Would you recommend NHS to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Because they're supportive and they have so much to offer throughout the training and afterwards. I have recommend the NHS to many of my friends and know a couple of them that have joined up and started the apprenticeship themselves. They also enjoy there joining from the start so yes I would recommend

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?
  • Just be honest and enjoy and embrace the assessment days as they go to quick and you want to remember them. interviews always can be daunting but if you even make yourself look confident it doesn't matter how you feel they can only see the outside. So embrace, be honest and appear confident.
