  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I spend a lot of my day working with different digital design elements. Mostly designing and coding different marketing emails. I work with a number of different teams to make sure we are all consistent with our messaging and creatives. I also work on improving our current processes to make them as easy as possible for everyone

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have really developed my technical, photoshop skills when it comes to design work. I have also learnt how to code which is something i never thought i would want to do, but i am so glad I have! I have also improved my peoples skills. I find it a lot easier to talk to different people from different teams, aswell as presenting to large crowds.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed my programme. The course wasn't necessarily relevant to my role but i found it really interesting to learn different aspects of Buisness Admin as this is something I had never done at school or college, it also gives me a good back up incase i ever want to change my career path!

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I felt like it was up to yourself on how organised and structured you made the programme. I worked as hard as i could to get all my work done early so i could purely focus on my job, which i found really benefical. But my assessor was really great setting my relevant deadlines.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I recieved a lot of support from my employer, everyone on my team has been so willing to help me and also people in other teams when i have needed to ask them questions to help with my apprenticeship - which not only helped me complete my apprenticeship, but helped me get to know other people from other teams

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] was really great! She would always check in on me to make sure i was doing okay, and set me achievable, yet challenging timelines when it came to the work i should produce. I didnt have any issues with the training provider, and the whole process went so smoothly!

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have become more aware of the differnet processes in a business, aswell as best practises. One of my modules was based on marketing so this was really helpful too. I tried to pick modules that would be applyable to my role, so that i would be able to learn something from them that i could then apply.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have a lot of team socials, and there is the process of organising quiz nights and yoga classes. I also attended Superdrug Got Talent where I won apprentice of the year, and this was a really great networking event where i got to know a lot of people from the company, and they got to know me!

  • 9a. Would you recommend Superdrug to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Everyone in the company is so lovely and the overall environment is great. This was my first office job and its really set high expectations for any other place of work. The office is lovely and new, which makes going to work that bit more enjoyable if you are in a nice environment.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Superdrug?
  • Do it! Starting an apprenticeship was one of the best decisions i have ever made, and deciding to get an apprenticeship with Superdrug really made it. I have learnt so much and made so many friends that i would defintley recommend Superdrug as a company to anyone who was considering it!
