  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have improved on my teamwork and communication soft skills as I use this daily in order to interact effecitvely with my team. I have also learned how to implement my previous programming knowledge effectively into a corporate environment, which is a key skill I really needed as its something you can't learn in school.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really like the variation I get at work as it has exposed me to many different areas I hadn't considered and it is definitely an added challenge keeping up with university work at the same time as that helps improve my time management and other useful soft skills some as presenting.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • As Fujitsu have been running this programme for a few years now they seem to have a good understanding of how it works allowing them to structure it well and easily accomodate for any issues you may have in it. They are also always very happy to hear your opinions and suggestions giving you an opportunity to have your say and improve it.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Some of staff at Wincehster University can be a little unresponsive when you need help which isn't helpful when you also have to communicate with them around your job, but they have been doing the programme for many years so have a good idea of how to strucutre it.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • After succesfully comjpleting my first semester I've found that some of the skills we've focused on such as time management, communicating and presenting have really helped me stay on top of my work in my day job as well as allowing me to look at tasks from different perspectives. The key skill for me personally would have to be the presentations as that has helped build my confidence and allowed to me find presenting a lot easier and less nerveracking.
