1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Answer emails - look after certain communications Communicate and work in liason with people from around the world. Manage systems and permissions for systems and websites work on current projects and push ideas

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learned loadddsss of new skills, but feel like employers should target the skills to train apprentices with based on the skills they need in their situation. that way apprentices gain actual valuable wanted skills and business skill gaps are filled.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I dont have to physically drag myself to work each morning, but you are usually aware of the time from after 2 or 3 o clock. So i would say i enjoy here more than i have enjoyed my life before here

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

my apprentice coordinator lady manages all the "training" i need to do to get my qualifications from the apprenticeship - which has gone like gravy so far. i often get set some questions each month to answer and i have to show some evidence for certain skills in on-the-job situations. Reasonably structured

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

Plenty of support from my line manager, who sometimes works from home often, but is always the most supportive in every way. People higher in the organisation seem untouchable, so support networks have to be made and identified, so you are clear on who to ask for specific things

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

not much support is needed for my by my provider, but if i have any questions, i can raise them in a monthly (ish) meeting or email her at any time i want

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

not at all i have found no useful information from my training provider. the only thing that is good about the training they provide, is that they require evidence of certain skills and competencies for how you use each skill in the real business world

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there are communities to get involved in and you can really get involved in anything you want. It just requires you to go and search for likeminded people and requires a definite effort from you to go find what you can.
