  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The way the program is structured is really good. I believe it’s going to help me get the best possible experience and overall outcome. The mixture between study and working time helps keep a good balance allowing both to be completed. Rothschild provide a suitable amount of time in the week order to revise all of the exam content. Much of which over laps with work itself providing a good combination.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer Rothschild & Co provide a very good level of support in both my daily work tasks, projects and my studying. They have provided me with many contacts not just internally but also externally to help if needed. For example a primary contact with somebody at the apprenticeship company as well as a mentor within the company. This allows me to have regular meetings to discuss progress and anything I may require assistance with.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My Training provider Fitch Learning has been very good in providing help towards completing my exams. They have arranged for meetings to come and see us to talk through the process and how the exams are set out. They have also come for revision sessions out our workplace which has proved very helpful. I also find the Helpdesk on the website particularly good for queries in regards to content questions due to the quick responses.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think the qualification I am currently studying for (investment advice diploma) helps in relation to my work due to the similarities between the content and my daiy tasks. A big proportion of terminology proves helpful to know when at work. I believe this will also make the exams easier as I will have a real life understanding the content rather than just from a textbook.
