  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am a team member and I mainly cook in the kitchen area a variety of chicken using correct training methods and standards set out by kfc themselves I also serve customers on till or drive thru window make burgers unload and put away deliveries and cash handling too I'm also hoping to become a team leader

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learned a lot and have a much deeper understanding of what my job in the hospitality industry involves and what is expected of me in my role at work whether that be in kitchen, middle of house (ie, burgers,chips pack) or front till dealing directly with customers in-store

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • This programme has given me a new sence of accomplishment in myself and my work. I'm happier knowing I have a wealth of knowledge at my disposal in my various job roles in-store and know that I have the ability to make a massive difference in work life home life and consumers lives

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme has been very well structured and has a direct path to follow which has all been explained to me in great detail anything i did not understand has been broken down enough to understand properly what it is I'm doing and what is expected of me on this programme

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer has been very supportive of me doing this programme always makes sure I'm on shift to see my trainer , also gives me time off if needed to study or mock test etc and helps me using her own knowledge of the hospitality industry in helping me to achieve my maximum

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My trainer has given me so much support during my programme I've had personal difficulties and she has helped me in making sure we stay on track and get the qualification I'm trying so hard to achieve as we have spoken about how much it means to me and why I need this qualification

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel I'm better equipped now with alot more information about my job role and how it's portrayed to my employers and customers whom I see on a daily basis and feel I can give a better standard of service to customers and be the best version if me there is and that's all thanks to my trainer and training programme

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Occasionally we will have social nights out or get togethers for colleagues and bosses, when our store is performing to its best we also go on company outings which involve all team members and management we also have a company night out which is a big fancy do for a select few and recognised those who have achieved excellence in there jobs/stores

  • Yes

  • Kfc has given me alot to.be happy and greatful for and has given me so much knowledge within the hospitality industry to use and make an impact in my life as I have learned so much and not all is to be used solely for my job role and can be used in a variety of needs


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to KFC UK & I?
  • My advice would to follow the path to greatness and achieve all that you can take every opportunity and grasp with both hands push yourself and others to be amazing at what we do in-store and demonstrate our great knowledge in our every day working life together we can achieve anything we want
