I am an Apprentice Customer Relations Advisor. I work in the complaints team where I deal with complaints, compliments and anti-social behaviour cases. As a team we work on the phones on a regular day to day basis. As a team we are supporting customers to live happily in their homes helping with any concerns or queries they need.
During my time as an Apprentice I have learnt a lot about myself. I have become confident, hardworking and supportive. I have developed a good understanding of my job. I am a excellent team worker and I am keen to learn new skills along my time in Customer Relations Team.
I feel that I am enjoying my time so far in my job role. I have come from the Head Office today and helped out through National Apprenticeship Week. I have weekly catch ups with my Team Manager. I also see a Talent and Early Careers Advisor every 6 weeks.
My programme is organised. My induction was good. I get a lot of training from Babcock and my Managers. A also get my Study Day on a Tuesday which breaks of my working week. I always go to my meetings when the date is set. In my team we are a small team and we enjoy each others company.
I have received a lot of support from my manager including my new mentor. He is really good and he supports me so well. If there is any questions I need to ask they are more than happy to help where possible. I do enjoy my team and I like my job.
I have had a lot of support from Babcock. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] comes in on a monthly visit. We talk about the themes we are going to learn. I do feel that I am getting the support I need. Also I work hard and I feel like she likes my work and what I produce.
I feel that my qualifications enables me to work hard and I perform better when working in a team. The qualification has enables me to put a lot effort in to what I do as an Apprentice. I also believe I feel a lot more confident in myself and for the future.
Other than my job role I have been out to Hallcroft Extra Care Scheme. I have baked some buns and made quiches. I have helped out towards the food bank. We noticed that there is a lot of food in the boxes and it has made a massive help for that.
Yes
I would recommend to a friend because you learn a lot depending which job you are wanting to go into. I feel that the staff are helpful in Head Office and that is why I love my job and I would like to carry on in my job role for the future.
Tips and advice would be to know what are getting into your job role. The assessment days are long but they are good help. The application takes a long time to sort out but it is worth it in the end if you are successful in the job role you choose.
