  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I have learnt and developed a lot of my skills . Skills I have developed are my communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders this includes my team and the wider division. I have also developed my time management skills , written skills , my wider knowledge of the business and operations work has also increased. I have also learnt how to create projects and effectively manage them.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • To a high extent as , it has turned out to be what I had imagined it to be although as you'd expect there are a few things that have caught me by surprise but I have managed to handle them well. There is also a lot of new things to learn how to actually carry out my projects effectively.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I feel my program is well organised as from the start of the program a clear structure of what the programme would consist of and when was shown which not only shows how organised the programme is but also allows you to think ahead and know what to expect and when which helps with preparation.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • All the support I need , I am provided with all the resources that I need to be able to carry out my apprenticeship effectively but I am also provided with the mental support in terms of learning and supporting me within the workplace and as my apprenticeship carries continues to progress.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive as much support as I need , due to me having my own skills coach which gives me the freedom to raise any queries I have throughout the programme which makes me feel comfortable. I am also provided with all the resources I need in able to work towards my qualification.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • This allows me to learn the industry way of carrying out projects and this means I can adapt these new ideas and methodologies within my role and be able to do my job much more effectively and consistently. I can also introduce new working ways into the business that people may have not heard of.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are so many unlimited extra-curricular activities to get involved in at work and they are so diverse that they are able to cater for a wide range of people so you never have too many people doing the same thing. This also helps you get you out there.

  • 9a. Would you recommend FCA to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because I feel it's a good place to start your career and gain your experience as you can actually add public value through your day job which makes it somewhere that I am proud to work at. Also because of the building and its people and how much they make you feel at home.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to FCA?
  • They always want people that are themselves so always be yourself in applying for a role and also always read up on the FCA as it is much better if you know what about the FCA interests you when you have your interview then it is easier for you to explain just why you want to join.
