  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • my daily duties vary day to day. the main aspects of my role is to test completed jobs so that they are definitely completed before going live and offered to the customers. this includes testing CBT's, fault finding, re-splicing faulty fibres, introducing new cables and sending off results to our line manager.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I feel that we are given the necessary stuff to complete our qualifications in terms of modules etc.. however I have had to look for help from my colleagues in order to get my modules completed due to not having a tutor which has been quickly rectified. when i meet with my tutor i will have the guidance needed to complete my qualification.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
