  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role as Team Assistant Apprentice involves supporting the Managing Director and his team with strategic planning and administration duties. The role is extremely varied, and every day presents different tasks to be resolved. While I am learning the fundamental skills of a business analyst, I am also performing the administration side by processing couriers, assisting at corporate events and creating briefing documents to keep my team well informed of the latest news.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Since staring my apprenticeship, I have developed skills in various Microsoft programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and SharePoint. These skills are qualities I use in my role each day to be able to support my team. As well as technical skills, I have learnt the importance of networking with in business and have been able to develop a strong network of industry wide individuals.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Since starting in September, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Warner Bros. to date. I have been exposed to so many new and exciting experiences in the industry and have been surprised at the opportunities I have been given. More importantly I am able to showcase my work through the exposure I have been given in my role which has led me to be recognized as an important member of the team.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I believe the program is structured well enough to give apprentices everything they need to perform in the industry. It is very easy to build relationships with other apprentices from the first day, enabling you to settle in quickly. The program offer's internal training programs for you to learn and develop other skills in addition to your role which is very helpful with meeting new people.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My direct line manager and team are very supportive of my apprenticeship and it's importance to helping me learn about the industry and gain my qualification. This is in addition to the support I receive from both LDN Apprenticeships and Warner Bros HR who regularly check in with me to ensure I am progressing in the right way.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • LDN Apprenticeships have been a very supported training provider since my first day at Warner Bros. The qualification requires a lot of dedication and self-directed learning; therefore they are there to help if you experience any issues regarding your work. LDN Apprenticeships meet with you once per month in addition to you attending college ensuring the feeling that you are well looked after as your course progresses.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My business administration qualification has enables me to learn skills and gain knowledge that direct influences my work at WB. This course covers various topics within business and develops my understanding of how this can be applied to both my job and the industry as a whole. The level 4 qualification is challenging but is learn how it relates to what you do on a daily basis.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are some sporting events that you can get involved in if you choose at WB while there are also regular team or companywide programs that you can sign up for such as regular screenings of the latest films. Some employees are able to attend premieres for Wb films which are exciting events to be a part of.

  • 9a. Would you recommend WarnerMedia to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have had such a fun experience working at Warner Bros so far and I believe others would too. You reap the rewards of your hard work and therefore you feel that you are working in a culture that makes working fun. The tasks I am set to complete are not always the most exciting but the positives defiantly outweighs the negatives.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WarnerMedia?
  • I would apply to Warner Bros with a strong idea that you would like to work in the industry. If you know what areas, you would be best suited or are most interested in then this would be advantageous. The roles for apprentices and interns are of a similar nature but give you the platform to develop on to something new in the future.
