  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have so far really enjoyed my experience on the programme I have undertaken. It has given me a greater understanding of the working world, what a career in finance may look like and the format of my study suits the way I learn, far greater than further education (university).

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme has so far been well organised. I have a good start with a well structured and detailed handover period with the previous person, and have slowly been given a larger workload as I have proven to efficiently complete the previous workload, receiving clear and precise instruction on how to complete the new tasks with opportunity to ask questions when unsure of how to proceed with certain tasks.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have received lots of support from my employer. My line manager is always available for me to ask questions about tasks and process and will listen if I have different ways to improve/change existing tasks/roles. They have set up weekly 1 on 1 meetings to check up on how my apprenticeship is going and how I am managing balancing all my tasks.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification training gives me a greater understanding of my role within the company and how the certain tasks I complete as apart of my role relate to different accountancy processes. They have recently showed us different techniques in Excel that have been highly valuable in my day to day tasks and have helped free up time so I can work on other things.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are lots of opportunities for extracurricular activities within my company, my first week on the job we had a social gathering within the department and have had many more since that I have extremely enjoyed. I have gone to a networking event for the wider finance community with warner bros, which I found to be a very educational experience and learnt skills that I will use in the future.
