  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I create and test applications. These tests are done to ensure when a application is released it is very unlikey to break. I also aid in automation which makes these tests faster so the company can do more tests in a given day these automation tests are combined with manual testing to ensure the application works as intended.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is well structured in my option. As all the information you need is easily accessible and there are plenty of friendly people you can ask if you have any questions. From the beginning of the program i knew exactly what i was going to do as we have a one week introduction which fully explained everything. We also have a 8 week boot camp where started our degree and learnt alot of new skills

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We get reasonable support from our training provider however not to the extent as me employer. They are happy to answer any questions/query's you have however they do take some time in doing so. However every one is very friendly and keep to help if you are struggling. I feel like a few more days a year of on-site training (at Aston) would be useful
