  • Everyday is different and can vary based on the placement you are on but generally there is a mix of office based work (emails and calls), meetings and lab based testing

  • Significant development both professionally and personally that I believe university alone could never offer

  • I love my job and I’m extremely passionate about it. Applying for it was the best decision I’ve ever made and I’m extremely grateful for being given this opportunity.

  • I was the guinea pig for this apprenticeship so it wasn’t structured when I started and was very experimental but has become more structured for the apprentices who have followed since

  • My team are extremely supportive

  • I get a high amount of support with regard to studying for my qualifications

  • I feel I learn more from the job as opposed to the university qualification

  • I don’t really get involved personally but there are a lot of activities that occur on site

  • Yes

  • Doing this apprenticeship has been the most rewarding experience of my life and I would urge anybody considering alternatives to university to consider Unilever


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • make sure your CV is spot on, be yourself if you receive interview requests (don't talk like you are reading of a page), and be genuinely interested
