  • Both, I have developed many skills j had before I started my apprenticeship, but have also learned and gained many more. Such as leadership, deligation and being a manager, I have developed communication skills as different approaches are needed when being a manager, as you need to lead but also be authoritative.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The training I'm getting in generalized to all business which helps me to keep thinking outside the box. Working at McDonald's its very easy to get sucked in and only think about what we do, when learning about other business we can compare and really go into the why to get a greater understanding.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, work likes to do events so everyone can get to know each other better, this makes it a great work environment as everyone gets on. I also get sent on acouple day trips with the other McDonald's apprentices to keep us learning and communicating, this makes an amazing support system, and really helps with the stress.

  • Forget the stereotypes, working here is amazing, be yourself and be honest, and always do your research.
