I also request for payment of invoices along with many other daily tasks.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My confidence has increased massively due to the nature of the job role I am in. I have to meet and greet various different people including people I have never met before. My telephone skills have grown also, I often have to ring or answer the phone to candidates, universities, training suppliers etc... I feel confident when giving constructive feedback over the phone also, even when it is not so positive. Due to the role I have, the company invested in me to undertake SHL training, I am now qualified to administer these tests to candidates. I have improved my time management skills just because of the deadlines I have been faced with over the past year. This has also lead to my organisational skills being improved.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I feel like I have really fell into place in my team that I work with. Everyone is so supportive and have been since day one. It didn't take me long at all to settle in and it didn't take long to feel like a valued member of the team. The company's culture is great. Everyone I have met has been friendly and approachable and willing to help or give guidance. The company really does look after their employees and it definitely shows. I didn't quite know what to expect before I started here at PSA Peugeot Citroën but I can safely say that I am extremely happy with everything I have been involved with over the past year and I am still enjoying it thoroughly.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Stellantis?
  • Pretty much all of the projects that my Manager sets for me to do is to give me a chance to get recognised throughout the organisation which I really appreciate. I have recently undertook a project which involved preparing what we are going to do for our 2014 recruitment campaigns. I had to propose my research and ideas to a senior member of staff. Overall, this went really well and my manager and colleague showed great appreciation for the work I had done. My Manager and team give me a lot of responsibility in the team, which again I really appreciate.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are sports teams throughout the building. We have quarterly nights out for the trainees in the building and we also have an annual Christmas Party for the whole of Pinley House. The organisation likes to get involved in local community projects when possible. We have an on-site gym, although this isn't outside of work, you can still go before/after you finish or in your lunch break.

  • 9. Would you recommend Stellantis to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I believe my experiences here so far have been invaluable. I am treated equally by everyone I work with and I am a valued team member. You couldn't ask for any better support here because you get it 100% from day one.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Stellantis?
  • My advice would be to put your absolute all into every step of the application process right from your CV and application form all the way through to Assessment Centre and beyond. Also, spell check everything before you send it off and make sure everything is worded correctly. If you have work experience and that includes absolutely anything, make sure it is in your CV. If offered a position within the organisation, you really need to treat the two years as a two year long interview for a permanent position.
