1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

7/10

Currently I am following the apprenticeship scheme that is set out for me which is a portfolio of systems that I need to make presentations on and present to my line manager and director. There is also manufacturing, installation, commissioning, general interfaces and planning programs that I need to learn.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

7/10

Yes, I have learnt how to correctly construct emails, create engaging presentations and about systems that I took for granted. I have also developed skills such as time management, how to talk professionally to people and how to solve problems that arise in different situations.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

8/10

I find my program to be very time consuming, as in once I've finished a presentation I'm straight onto the next; which is not bad because It means I never have nothing to do however it can be quite intense.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

8/10

It is very well structured, with a portfolio to keep you on track and see what you have or haven't done, a training plan that is clearly laid out and planned well in advance and a team of people who are very helpful.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

9/10

I receive ample amount of support from my employer. whether it come from training, advice or general help enquiries the support is always there or directed to the right way for help if they can't necessarily provide it.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

6/10

The support could be improved. The information provided is very detailed and informative but is not necessarily taught well. Another point is the fact that course work briefs have very little detail and when you ask for more information the replies are minimal.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

7/10

It helps me with providing the information I need in my role in the form of presentations on system knowledge.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

8/10

Currently no, however there are some events coming up in the future with cycling clubs, walks for charity and volunteering events.

9a. Would you recommend Mace Group to a friend?

Yes

9b. Why?

Due to it being a very supportive, well organised and informative company. With the support in training and colleges, It's organised by having clear goals set out with portfolios and review forms and informative with the aids of infomace, Oracle and connections that can be made.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace Group?

Be confident, calm but passionate in what you want to apply for. Don't come in with a slackers attitude or be to shy to propose and idea or speak up about something as it will be the downfall to your success.
