Technical Trainee Review

Working within the Geotechnical department. My tasks vary from creating drawings for projects to general administrative duties.

I have learnt a lot of life skills, ones that you cannot acquire until you have started work.

I enjoy my apprenticeship immensely and am truly proud to work for a company that values its apprentices.

Arup definitely value its apprentices. The amount of work they put into us to make sure that we are all on track is great.

Even though we are the first apprentices they have hired I believe that the apprenticeship is structured very well. We receive good training internally and externally.

Our college works very closely with the company. They are always on hand to resolve any issues.

As much support as we need. If there is a problem then someone is always willing to help us out.

My salary does meet my costs.

There are a whole host of activities and events that take place out of work. There is probably at least one activity to take part in 7 days a week.
