  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt time management as a personal skill as well as other skills relating to my future job role of being a commercial manager in the next 5 years. Checking materials on site and learning the specific parts of sub-contracts have been an on-going process but it has taught me that having a good attention to detail can help to avoid any small errors that could put yourself or the company at financial risk.

  • Everything that I am currently learning at work is gone through in my university lectures and this helps to solidify what I need to know by understanding more of all the specific parts of the job role in the classroom. I can also ask questions to more than one source of information from my lecturers and my supervisors/line managers at work!
