  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • very much, every day is different and each person you speak to has a different story. The programme could have more communication with the individual apprentices and we only see them once a month and emails tend to get ignored, however the organisation I am based in is very good to work in a supportive.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • it is well organised on a general scale, however I could have more feedback from the coach as they do not come often and advise us of what we should be studying. the tasks set are not too challenging therefore easy top keep on top of, however they're all topical and help to understand what we're working towards

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • we receive a session once a month with information given on what we need to do further in the next steps and reviewing what we have done since our last meeting. The training from the company is very good as they help you out along the way and they will always support you with no judgement.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel like the training provider (FWD) do not help the role I am in, but they assist with the work I need to do to get the best outcome from my role, e.g. helping me to build my confidence and conveying to me what I am able to do.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • there are multiple social events that teams ask for them to get involved in, such as football after work and going out for a drink on Friday. I have not yet attended many, however look to go to more in the near future when they have some more as I feel more part of the team.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Volkswagen Financial Services to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • it is a good company to get progression in and work for, they are well known globally and it is really interesting to get your head around the background process of such a well known company. The apprenticeship is a fab idea as we can go around the company, meet new people and learn new skills.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Volkswagen Financial Services?
  • to not worry about not knowing everything straight away, as it is all learning on the job and all staff are supportive of your progression. There is such a warm feel to the company with the colleague relationships and it is a fabulous opportunity where everyone wants you to succeed as much as you do. Relax and take the risk.
