  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Since starting the apprenticeship I've learnt many new skills that I hadn't had chance to fully develop while at school/sixth form. These include but aren't limited to improving communication and other soft skills in addition to more technical skills such as map/design reading which I have to use on a daily basis.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Due to the nature of my job it means that the tasks I complete on a day to day basis are very varied and as a result rarely do the same thing in a day. This makes the job very enjoyable as I always have something engaging a different to work on throughout the week.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure of the programme and training is very good as all the college time is pre-booked meaning I know when and where I'm going to training all the way to the end of the programme. The training providers are also very good as they communicate effectively via both email and also the dedicated skills coach you are assigned at the beginning providing a good amount of support throughout.
