  • 1. Please give an overview of what your work experience involved:
  • Much work experience involved me working around the shop, cleaning up, fixing isles and fixing the foods on the shelves that were messy. Im trying to work up to being on the tills and helping people around the shop. It benefits me a lot as I know what to expect in the future

  • I learned how to be on time, be punctual and how to help and be more confident and comfortable in a working environment. I also gained more communication skills and working with others as I helped out other people who needed it and I talked to a lot of people to get information who worked there

  • I really enjoyed my work experience as it was a friendly and comfortable environment. I was flexible to the work hours and it had good pay and helped me choose what I want to do in the future. It also gave me ideas and an open mind to any job which can benefit me

  • It was quiet organised as I was on time and punctual and the place was very comfortable and suitable for my work. I did everything on time and even arrived on time however sometimes I did get a little uncomfortable with asking for help but everyone there was friendly n helped me

  • I learned a little about the company culture as I didn’t understand much about it but I still tried to get what it meant, but I enjoyed how it would be like working there and how future jobs would be similar to it and it opened my perspective to that

  • It helped me see how comfortable it is to work with others and a great start to a career I might want. It helps me know how to keep clean, punctual and know that I might want to work in retail when I’m older to help get more money

  • Yes i was payed a good amount of money for the work that I did there and I think so was the other workers there. I have no complains with the money I was given as it also gave me a good representation of the future and what I will expect in future jobs

  • Yeah I worked with a couple others there who were friendly and helped me when I needed it. I was working with others which helped me get my communication skills better and more clear so I can work in group tasks in future jobs which is really good for career paths in the future

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It was nice working there and friendly. I enjoyed it very much as the shop I worked in had good hours and it helped me know what to do in life. Everyone there helped me a lot when I needed it and I helped others when they needed it which benefits me in getting comfortable


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
  • Be punctual and on time and be comfortable there. There’s a lot of customers who may need help so you must be there to offer and support them in whatever way they need. Also you must look presentable with the right clothing, not too makeup and not look messy but your own way
