  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer for example allowing me time to complete university work, especially when deadlines are approaching. There is also a wide support network available if apprentices are struggling in any way. Placement managers have an understanding of what apprentices are trying to work towards so therefore set work which will be best suited for this and offer support where needed.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The university are very supportive and lecturers will meet with individual pupils if they are struggling. Degree apprentice classes are also smaller which allows for apprentices to have more one-on-one time which lecturers and ask more questions. This is good as apprentices have less free time to complete work so one-on-one help is important.
