  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • as a sales support analyst we help account managers to set up sales accounts for their customers, do the necessary checks and complete the account set up process for them to use the necessary information and give out the prices to the customers. We log in the tenders from different tpi's and credit check the customers in order to find out that customers credit rating is worth doing business or not.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to communicate within and outside the team. I have also learnt how to manage changes at workplace and prioritize work according to these changes. Have developed skills of working in a team and cope up with different personalities within a team. I have also learnt how to talk to different account managers and get the required work done.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am totally enjoying this program and working in Eon. Everyday I am learning new things about utility industry and how business is carried out in these industry. I also enjoy the qualification part of this programme as it helps me to learn the theory aspect of the business and different rules and laws associated with the industry.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is well structured in different months and each month is associated with a separate module. Along with these modules we also have different observations to be carried out and each observations has to be completed with a reflective writing. This programme is well organised and all the study material is available in advance for us to go through and get a good insight of the resource available.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • MY employer provides full support in each and every aspect of this programme. Be it on the job learning or off the job training and research, I have been provided with full support and other necessary help from my employer. I have also been provided with necessary feedback from time to time from my employer for my personal development as well.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider always understands my requirements and supports me with every possible way they can. Be it appointing a separate assessor or providing online extra support to resolve my queries, my training provider always tries to go an extra mile to help me to make my qualification journey as smooth as possible.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification provided me an insight on how we carry out business and tasks related to business. It helps me to learn the reasons and regulations and laws behind the way we are carry out day today activities at workplace. It also helps us to understand how to carry out work in different situations.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • At work we regular take part in different activities within and outside the team. Be it Christmas quiz or Christmas desk decoration or some sports competition between different teams, there is always something constructive activities or networking events going on at my workplace in which we can get involved and learn something from it.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a great place to work and people around are always helpful and encouraging. Everything at eon is well organised and structured. Managers are very cooperative and helpful in everyway possible. There are always various opportunities available for employees for development and growth at the workplace. Pay structure is well defined and good at Eon.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON?
  • Always show your real side at the interview and never fake. Be ready to learn new things. Always provide true information about yourself and never try to put in false things while applying for any openings at Eon. Always keep an eye on different openings available and go through the job specification first before applying.
