  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme I am working in is structured very well. As it is onsite, I am able to gain a quick grasp of how the business functions compared to being in education and trying to picture it. With that I also attend a training centre for one week every 6 weeks. I find this effective as it lets me gain the experience within the workplace to which I can then relate back to when I'm at the training centre.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive as much support that is needed. For being the first time this apprenticeship has ran for the company in this location, the company have been very much on bored with wanting to receive feedback on how well we are performing and how well they are performing, in terms of if there is any areas that need to be improved to make the apprenticeship better or for us so we can learn better.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Our training provider also shows a lot of support in making sure we are keeping up with the work that is given to us and that we are understanding the work that we are going through when at the training centres. Whilst it is the weeks we are not at the training centre, our tutor will visit us or make contact us every so often so that he can make sure we are up to date on everything that needs done. I find this to be effective as it means there is less chance of us falling behind or getting flustered with work.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel very positive about the qualification helps me perform better in my role in work. this is because when we are at the training centre we are being thought about things that we are able to relate to what we carry out whilst working in our job role. As well as this we also get to hear other people experiences who are attending the same course which helps us gain a better understanding of our job role and how we can use there experience to help improve ourselves.
