  • Running a pub and managing staff ensuring that everything is safe and legal and conforms to Greene King's policies and procedures.

  • I've learned how to develop and train a team. Improved organisation skills and learned more about how sales affect the business.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoyed the classroom based learning and learning about the other brands under Greene King's umbrella. The tutors that we had were fantastic and the training delivered by Lifetime Training was good also.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Classroom side of things were very well structured and the visits from the trainers was really good. However many changes did make things difficult, such as classroom locations and date changes.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employers were great in giving me time to go to the classrooms, however I wasn't given much time to complete homework.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My tutor was brilliant, she spent a lot of time with and supported throughout the programme.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have a better understanding of how to run a business and the tools used. It was good to know how politics, weather and environmental factors affect sales.

  • Yes

  • A good company to work for its the biggest pub company in the world now. They are great at putting you through qualifications.

  • Do your research make sure the site you're working at is where you want to be.
