  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It was clearly structured well and a clear target and timescale was in place. Sometime it seemed a little un organised with meeting my trainer would be planned very last minute which would be hard to do when working or if that’s meant to be my day off but this was not an issue that would deter me from doing another nvq.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer was supportive and helped me with meeting my trainers goals. For example I would communicate with my trainer and manager to ensure I was in work for when a delivery arrives so I can be marked off for doing that as observation. And my work were happy to work with me to help complete my nvq.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not really people sometimes organise going out for meals outside of work and we went for a Christmas meal however with it being in the catering industry it’s never shut it’s open every day of the year, so it’s hard to organise anything as a whole team as cover would always be needed.
