  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I was a Smart Futures Intern and within business week I had to help the other workers with any simple tasks they needed me to complete like PowerPoint making and changing specific slides. I had interactions with other interns and workers. We also did pitches and met many of the workers in the building.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very organised, everyday there was something new to do with new people and set out PowerPoints showing planning was made before hand. There was a little confusion and lack of things to do with business week in my placement however this was due to my leader changing last minute. Overall it was structured and organised.

  • Research before hand so you have as many answers for the phone interview. Feel free to ask questions and be inquisitive- the workers there liked that. Participate in all the events and activities and work well as a team. Even if it’s not something you want to do in the future, take everything on board and make notes!
