  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • For the first two weeks I was taught how to present myself to the corporate world, its stakeholders, and how to improve ourselves and better present our ideas, in the last week, we were placed into varying divisoons, with me in HR.

  • I learnt how to carry myself, how to project an idea to others, how to retain/satisfy internal and external stakeholders, skills that I improved in was communication, presenting, analysing, etc

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I believe it was a very valuable experience and if missed, would be a huge opportunity lost. It exceeded my expectations and how much I thought I'd enjoy it.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by EY?
  • I felt like a valued member in my division, as good care was appointed to me as I was new. I recieved great guidance and was explained in depth as to what my task was for a project.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • We had to fill out logs explaining what we had learned, and were appointed mentors at the end of the programme that aim to provide you with any help needed by you which is a good support. The programme was organised in a way where I was glad as to what division I was placed in at the end, and how I felt like I fit in.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • We regularly send each other emails revolving around my personal statement or UCAS application, providing a great guidance.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There was a lot of guidance, a lot of patience and a lot of encouragement to see through that each and every one of us understood and learned of the corporate world, and the different divisions in a firm, and the other essential aspects of one

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • The end pay of the programme was highly appreciated and exceeded the feeling of what I felt I was deserved, it did pay up for the end for what me or others had to pay for transportation to reach the office or case study areas

  • Every now and then there will be an email regarding an opportunity such as explaining your experience or an apprenticeship.

  • Yes

  • Because the company truly gives to those willing to recieve an ideal corporate experience.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • Be prepared for the interviews, don't be shy and greet others as eventually you'll be a huge team and have fun.
