Enjoying the programme. Great opportunity to mix with like minded young individuals. Opportunity to get varied expiernce. With the rotational placements I can work out what departments I like and the one I do not enjoy as much.

4. How valued do you feel by Visa?

Very valued, always encouraged to take part in extra activities. Recognised for achievements and helped to develop thgough mentoring and buddy systems. A part of teams who are more than happy to offer their support to apprentices to help develop their understanding.

5. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised. Induction process was appropriate and useful for the most part. For my specific department I was required to complete 6 weeks of induction training and 5 assessments (pass mark 80%) Having tests to complete at work and managing degree work was a bit difficult. But doable, I managed to pass.

6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?

Not much. Could be improve if meetings were scheduled further in advance and time were not frequently changed. Workshops could be more hands on and actually relevant to the task at hand. Online learning is easy to follow and informative.

Members of the team are happy to help with projects. We are given a study day off almost every week to complete degree work. Managers/ mentors offer guidance and support constantly.

Salary package is exceptional for me personally. Help attract me to the programme and other individuals who are serious about personal development and gaining experience. Maybe if I was not living at home, it might not have been enough.

Yes, all you have to do is sign up. These opportunites are always advertised to us and we are encouraged to take part.
