  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I met some amaazing people and learned valuable skills not just for this field but general employable skills. For the first two weeks you will do some really fun and interactive activities to help you gain a CMI qualification in team leading. The final third week you do business work experience where you will do tasks such as researching companies on company house, creating briefs for client site employees, looking at financial accounts and checking them for the companies real clients. You also get to do negotiation tasks at Baker McKenzie a law firm for a day and get to see the Canary Wharf EY building which is amazing! You are also paid to do this, so put yourself out there and become more employable.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • On a Dragons Den task we, in teams, had to create a concept for a phone (company, tech and finances) and pitch to judges - including associate partners of the branch. This really helped my confidence and made me develop it as it aided my process of overcoming my fear of public speaking.
