  • I was working in Group Ops where the team made me feel very welcome. I shadowed the employees and took notes on their day to day interactions. I also attended various meetings and was challenged on my understanding, making me feel as part of the team.

  • I have learnt many new skills during my time here including critical thinking skills, time management, Communication skills and CV writing skills.

  • I wholeheartedly enjoyed my experience here as it was abundantly clear that the employees around me strived to make me feel accommodated at M&G.

  • M&G made me feel more than a guest of the company. they worked to make me feel as part of the group as possible.

  • The programme had a focus on giving the work experience students a detailed and honest view on the workload of the employees. The Programme was clear and concise, with a well structured timetable.

  • I received excellent support. They went out of their way to provide me with resources that will be useful even after the week long experience.

  • There was plenty of support from my employer that there was not a moment where I was off-task or not engaged

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • M&G covered all possible costs that went into the experience. This included a above-reasonable lunch allowance and travel costs.

  • There were not many opportunities out of work given

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to M&G?
  • Do NOT be shy to ask questions, or do NOT feel like you are in the wrong for not asking any. Listening is a valuable skill and questioning shows engagement.
