Travelling to different clients, gaining an understanding of how their business works and then performing our audit work on the company accounts.

On the job training provides the opportunity to develop quickly as well as off the job training for exam studies.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme is very challenging and a lot of hard work is required but at the end it should all be worth it with the qualification you achieve and the skills that will have been developed.

A lot of responsibility is given to you and everyone is treated equally.

The programme is very organised and well structured in terms of the route to qualification.

Training provider is external but is very good in terms of support through studies and exams.

There are projects in place to support employees.

The salary is reasonable with progression throughout the programme.

There are always recruitment events and other leisure/social activities going on.

Yes

Although the programme is very challenging and is quite a long apprenticeship, it's all worth it in the long term

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?

Make sure to do plenty of research into what you are applying for and make sure it is what you want to do. Also doing work experience before hand is a good idea to gain some experience/ knowledge of what you can expect.
