Associate Review

My role is to assist in the audit and perform the testing on the underlying balance sheet and P and L accounts. Day to day this involves interaction with the client and working closely along side my seniors to complete the testing and verify the figures disclosed.

I have developed skills on excel and have also significant improved my communication and public speaking skills through opportunities provided by EY.

I sometimes enjoy my programme however i feel there is a lack of support and knowledge of the programme throughout the business.

I feel valued by EY by reciving recognition awards for good work however i feel like this can be improved on.

The programme has a good structure however does seem a bit long. The programme could do with improvement in terms of support and understanding of who is running it.

We recieve some support from the employer however this could be significantly improved.

My salary does not meet my costs as it does not allow me to live in London alike my work collegues.

There are lots of oppurtunites such as sports team and promotion programs to get involved in
