Senior Audit Assistant Review

My role at EY is within the assurance department. I work on different clients on a daily basis leading teams in completing the financial audit. Responsibilities include managing the audit team, completing work to audit/accounting standard, review junior work and work to tight deadlines.

There is a great social environment within work and opportunity to work in different teams on a regular basis. I have enjoyed the experience and opportunities I have gained from this programme. The programme has been challenging however I do enjoy my time.

There is regularly recognition from managers within teams, however due to the large nature of the business it is difficult to get recognition on a larger scale.

There is support available in all aspects of the programme i.e. in work and in training.

- Managers are always available to provide support on a day to day basis. - We have an allocated counsellor to discuss any issues or career progression
