1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

9/10

I am currently panel building which involves fitting shelves for all the components to go on. I also fit breakers into the boards insuring they are safe and secure. Also we also wire the breakers up to all the meters so they can be read correctly. All of this is greatly helpful within the job.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

10/10

Before my apprenticeship I had no panel board or electrical experience. Being on this apprenticeship I have learnt about electrical components and how they work and how to be connected correctly. I have also learnt how to use power tools safely.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

9/10

I like being part of the Schneider team because they are all willing to help me if I am in need. Also manufacturing massive panel boards from the business gives you massive satisfaction especially when they are for customers such as Tottenham Hotspur FC and Coca-Cola.

7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?

7/10

As far as salary I feel it is okay for an apprenticeship but I am 21 with a lot of expenses going out such as new born baby, car, rent, food it doesn't really leave me much for any enjoyment for myself but I understand as I stay longer the pay will increase.

Since I have started Schneider I have made a number of new friends from all areas of the business who invite for out and to events or even just for a casual drink.
