MCR Review

I am a Multiskilled operator in MCR. This involves dealing with all requests from Bloomberg TV partner channels; Turkey, India, Mongolia, Bulgaria, Philippines, BNN Canada and Sky Australia. I also work in MCR on the live shows. This involves following the rundown and tickets. Setting up remote guests and making satellite bookings with the use of in-house and 3rd Party resources to meet the client requirements. My role also depends on troubleshooting.

I have developed my verbal & written communication skills through speaking with people globally. I have also developed teamwork and confidence. I have also learnt to work under pressure as the environment I am exposed to daily is very changeable. Moreover my role has helped me develop a technical understanding of the broadcast transmissions.

I enjoy my programme a lot. I enjoy working with different people and learning from other apprentices who are in various companies and departments.

I am given a lot of responsibility here at Bloomberg and I am provided with a lot of support, This helps me excel in my role as well as develop skills

My training here at Bloomberg is very well structured and I have been eased into the role allowing me to pick everything up with understanding.

Training provider visits my workplace and has a meeting with my team mate and working to ensure I am meeting my expectations both at work and with my studies.

The employer provides me with great support. My questions are answered thoroughly helping me understand why everything is done and why It needs to be done.
