Following 2 years in South East Office Agency and Global Occupier Services I am now working in Cushman & Wakefields Hospitality Valuation Department. My role varies from day to day, including assisting with site inspections, report writing and assisting with calculations.
Since starting my apprenticeship I have gained a BTEC in Construction and the Built Environment, an NVQ in Surveying and I am now qualitied as an Associate member of the RICS. I am currently studying towards my degree and to become a Chartered Surveyor.
I really enjoy my programme and working at Cushman & Wakefield. I have been pushed and encouraged by my line managers to work hard and if I have any questions they are on hand to assist.
I feel extremely valued by Cushman & Wakefield. The Early Careers Team take their time to check in with all the apprentices and offer support where required.
My programme is very well structured and I have regular catch ups to review my progress.
I recieve a large amount of support from my training provider and they often check in to see how I am coping and if I have any issues.
My employer/company is key for my progress throughout the scheme. I find that if I have questions regarding university work, or on the job, they are on hand to offer guidance on the matter.
With time my salary has grown in line with the graduates as I have gained more experience.
My work often encourage wider participation in sports and work events.
Yes
I believe that Cushman & Wakefield has invested both their time and money to ensure I become the best Surveyor possible. Most importantly I feel valued by the company.
I would recomment they research the various Surveying pathways to ensure they pick the job role best suited to them. I would encourage them to work hard and build their internal profile to make them stand out compared to their peers.
