  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role mainly involved understanding the core work being done by other members of the team, allowing me to provide information to various stakeholders at different points in time. I was also involved in performing ad hoc data analysis for a live web tool to measure success against team KPI’s

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is not as structured as many of us would have liked, there is a chance of being unassigned at which point you have no formal work to do and must spend your time chasing up managers trying to find a role or “self learning”

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The company is very supportive in terms of guidance and opportunities. As mentioned earlier, the possibility of being unassigned can be a daunting experience for many interns.

    7/10

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary enabled me to live and meet my costs sufficiently since I was still living at home. Had I not been doing so I believed the salary may not have been enough to live to a good standard in London

    7/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There are many opportunities to partake in sport and other activities including but not limited to, official company parties. I took part in squash, football, and many different team outings on my first project.
