  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • my job title is a vehicle acquisition apprentice, my daily tasks consist of dealing with Ireland invoices making sure they match the cost analysis so we can pay them also making sure the VRT is also uploaded, answering any queries from Brian in Ireland on any invoices that have not been approved for payment on vehicle studio which is a bespoke file. I also deal with PDI invoices for dealers such as vantage, comply, cvl, grs. Making sure there invoice information is updated onto our master file to be paid.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt a lot since starting this apprenticeship, mainly how to use excel and understand it more in depth as I am on it everyday for Ireland invoices. I have learnt how to do a v look up to pull in data that is needed for information on invoices. Also using short cuts on excel to help me finish tasks quicker for example ctrl c and ctrl v is a quicker way of copying and pasting.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the daily tasks I am given as they challenge me on a daily basis. The team I work with are very patient and understanding and train me so I can be the best to my ability. So far this apprenticeship has met my expectations I always knew enterprise would be a good company to work for as it is so well known and working with people that have worked for the company a long time is very reassuring.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Enterprise Mobility?
  • I feel valued at enterprise every time I finish a task I always get praised for it from my boss and supervisor. When I get tasks done for [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] over in Ireland he will always send me an email saying thank you. I feel because i am here it is a big help for the team as we all contribute and help one another.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very organised when i am being trained I am always explained what to do in depth so i understand it fully. If i ever have a question i can ask any of the team and they help me.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • My trainer so far has been very supportive with the beginning of my apprenticeship. They have helped me understand the process of my qualification and what i have to do to succeed it. I am giving tasks to do up to the next time of my training meeting which keeps me busy with my apprenticeship time i do on Friday afternoons. I feel if i ever had a problem i could talk about it and feel they understand.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • So far into my apprenticeship i have received a lot of support from everyone. My team i work with have all been very welcoming and have all given me advice and helped me with my daily tasks so i make sure it is all correct. I feel if i have a problem i can talk to my boss about it and they will help me as much as possible.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • my salary/package is good, as i am on an apprenticeship i think what i am paid is a good amount. I can travel to and from work via train, i can go out on weekends and enjoy my hobbies and interests, i can buy myself lunch when i need to.

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • I would say there is a lot of opportunities outside of work, there is voluntary you can get yourself involved with we receive emails about what we can get involved with as a company. As a company we have charity days which helps people from different departments meet and get involved with fun activities. Also the company provide exercising classes to help you keep active and also another chance for people to meet and start up a conversation

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because so far my experience has been positive I have met some really nice people the work keeps you busy. You learn a lot and feel proud when you have accomplished a task.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Enterprise Mobility?
  • If you are applying for enterprise i would say going forward for the application and an interview just be yourself everyone is really nice throughout the process, be very well prepared as you will be asked a lot of questions.
