  • We were integrated into the company straight away, which is what I felt was so special about the experience, the level of responsibility assigned almost instantly.

  • My time at EY has helped me develop all of my skills massively, from people related abilities to more technical skills such as using specific programs

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I loved every second of the program, I felt it had exactly the right balance between an introduction into the firm, actual relevant and engaging work and a very nice social life with other scholars

  • 4. How valued do you feel by EY?
  • With individually assigned buddies and councillors I felt that the scheme genuinely had the needs of the scholars as their priority even down to a personal level.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • As I was the very first year of the programme, it is hard to judge the organisation and structure, however from what I did experience everything ran perfectly smoothly.

  • 5/10

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received on hand support whenever I required in addition to weekly catch up meetings with a designated EY councillor.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I thought the company were extremely generous with their salary, allowing the scholars to maintain a very high standard of living during the summers in london

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • We had ample opportunities outside work, particularly through the company associations, for example I played rugby for the EY team after work, allowing me to network with other employees.

  • 9. Would you recommend EY to a friend?
  • Yes

  • I think the combination of the firm's prestige, culture and support make it an extremely attractive place to work.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EY?
  • Try to ask as many questions as possible and be confident because the people who work there genuinely are as nice as they seem and are willing to help with anything providing it is a reasonable situation.
